My etchings are visually pictorial and transform selected snapshots from family
photograph albums into strong drawn images
with a stylistic Japanese format, but with
closer inspection reveal a sense of wit and
humour. The prints capture moments from the past,
with the inevitable knowledge of the future,
applying a personal imprint on a past image. I use my work to convey a common point in
our past that defines who we are, regardless
of nationality.
